The Dorset Tree Shepherd
The Dorset Tree Shepherd is a small family run business based in the heart of the Dorset countryside. Andrew is a highly skilled, experienced carpenter with a passion for working with wood, especially oak. They pride themselves on their eco-credentials and only use sustainably sourced or reclaimed wood and work with a local sawmill. They also plant a tree for every sale made. 100% my kind of people!
The handcrafted products are all made by Andrew and lent themselves to three distinct categories, – Indoor Spaces, Outdoor Spaces and Equestrian & Livestock. We also created a separate page for Special Commissions which deserved more space and more of a story, as each bespoke product is so labour-intensive, and built to order. I art directed the photography and Brent Jones took the beautiful photographs, working closely with Andrew to get exactly what he wanted. Glen Wilkins created a stunning logo that perfectly sums up what The Dorset Tree Shepherd is all about.
