Wyndthorpe Cottage
Wyndthorpe Cottage is the perfect holiday retreat, set in the tranquil grounds of the owner’s home, with the most stunning views across the Dorset countryside. After talking with the owner, Victoria, it was clear that their existing website was underselling the property and looked tired and old-fashioned. It needed to work a lot harder to encourage people to book a stay and to have a more contemporary feel without alienating older, returning customers.
For me showcasing the wide selection of local attractions, including the beautiful walks, cycle routes, forests and stunning Jurassic coastline helps to do this. I included lots of testimonials and also dedicated pages recommending places to eat and drink locally.
The cottage has underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen and wonderfully comfortable beds which I wanted to make a feature of so I decided to present each room separately on the Home page. The colours echo the colour scheme in the cottage.
