Naintara Land - Psychotherapist

I’m over the moon that Naintara trusted me to design her website. As well as offering conventional psychotherapy she also offers a more contemplative space for spiritual exploration and wisdom conversations. She’s passionate about diversity and inclusion and brings a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approach to her work. She’s warm, gentle, sensitive and caring and I wanted to get that across in the look and feel of the website.

 Tara had had some striking photographs taken of her which she was unsure of using as she felt they may be too strong and personal. However, as soon as I saw them, I knew they were perfect. They are sensitive, expressive honest and impactful and visitors to her site would make an emotional connection with them and her. I used two of them together alongside the heading ‘Feel, heal, grow’ at the top of the home page which set the tone for the whole site. I love that it’s a very different approach to a therapy website.

Tara likes rich, earthy colours and we decided on a deep dark green and a dark red colour palette with touches of gold. She also loves sacred geometry, particularly the Venus Rose Path symbol and wanted to incorporate it in her logo. We commissioned Glen Wilkins to create her logo and the result is an elegant logo, which also has an animated version which I used in the navigation.
